Ingredients
- 1 Black tea bag
- 1 cup (240ml) Hot water
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Monk fruit sweetener
- 4-5 cubes Ice
- 1 Lemon slice (optional, garnish)
- 1 small Fresh mint sprig (optional, garnish)
Method
- Steep the tea bag in hot water for 3 minutes — longer makes it bitter.
- Remove the tea bag and stir in monk fruit while the tea is still warm so it dissolves fully.
- Let the tea cool for 5 minutes, then stir in the lemon juice.
- Pour over a glass of ice and garnish with a lemon slice and a mint sprig.
