Ingredients

  • 1 Black tea bag
  • 1 cup (240ml) Hot water
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Monk fruit sweetener
  • 4-5 cubes Ice
  • 1 Lemon slice (optional, garnish)
  • 1 small Fresh mint sprig (optional, garnish)

Method

  1. Steep the tea bag in hot water for 3 minutes — longer makes it bitter.
  2. Remove the tea bag and stir in monk fruit while the tea is still warm so it dissolves fully.
  3. Let the tea cool for 5 minutes, then stir in the lemon juice.
  4. Pour over a glass of ice and garnish with a lemon slice and a mint sprig.
