Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 8 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne
  • 1/2 Lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Pat shrimp dry; season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear shrimp 1-2 minutes per side until pink; remove to a plate.
  3. Lower heat to medium. Add butter and garlic; cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Stir in cayenne and lemon juice. Return shrimp to pan and toss to coat.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve with extra lemon wedges.
