Ingredients
- 4 Large eggs, separated
- 4 oz (113g) Cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 tsp Cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Beat egg whites with cream of tartar to stiff peaks.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks with cream cheese and salt until smooth.
- Gently fold the whites into the yolk mixture in three additions, keeping volume.
- Spoon into 8 rounds on the parchment, smoothing the tops.
- Bake 25 minutes until golden and set. Cool fully before slicing for sandwiches.
