Ingredients

  • 2 Bone-in pork chops (1-inch thick)
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 2 sprigs Fresh rosemary
  • 3 Garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Pat pork chops dry. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear pork chops 5 minutes per side until golden crust forms.
  4. Add butter, rosemary, and garlic to the pan. Baste chops with foaming butter for 2 minutes.
  5. Rest 5 minutes before serving. Spoon pan juices over the chops.
