Ingredients
- 4 lbs (1.8kg) Pork shoulder (bone-in)
- 2 tbsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup Chicken broth
- to taste Salt and pepper
Method
- Mix all spices to make a dry rub. Coat pork shoulder on all sides.
- Place pork in the slow cooker. Add broth and apple cider vinegar.
- Cook on LOW 8 hours or HIGH 4 hours until fork-tender.
- Shred meat with two forks, discarding bone and excess fat.
- Toss shredded pork in the juices. Serve in lettuce wraps or over cauliflower rice.
