Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) Ground beef (80/20)
- 4 American cheese slices
- 4 large Butter lettuce leaves
- 8 Dill pickle slices
- 4 Onion, thin slices
- to taste Salt and pepper
Method
- Divide beef into 4 balls (2 oz each). Season with salt and pepper.
- Place on a screaming hot cast iron skillet. Immediately smash flat with a spatula.
- Cook 2 minutes until edges are deeply browned and crispy.
- Flip, add cheese. Cook 1 minute.
- Stack 2 patties per burger on lettuce leaves. Add pickles and onion.
