Ingredients

  • 1 roll Almond flour sub roll
  • 4 oz (115g) Chicken thigh, sliced into strips
  • 2 tbsp Sugar-free teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded Romaine lettuce
  • 2 slices Tomato, sliced
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sauté onions until soft and golden, 3-4 minutes; set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sear chicken strips 4-5 minutes until cooked through. Add teriyaki sauce and toss to glaze.
  3. Slice the sub roll. Pile chicken and onions on the bottom.
  4. Add lettuce and tomato; close and slice on the bias.
