Ingredients
- 100 g swordfish
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 (juiced) lemon
- 50 g capers
- 1 tbsp parsley
Method
- Pat the swordfish dry and rub it thoroughly with olive oil, then allow it to marinate for 15 minutes at room temperature.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat until it reaches a searing temperature, approximately 230°C (450°F).
- Place the swordfish on the hot grill and cook for 20 minutes on the first side without moving it, allowing distinct grill marks to form.
- Flip the swordfish carefully and continue grilling for a further 21 minutes until the fish is cooked through and opaque at the center.
- While the fish rests, combine the lemon juice, capers, and chopped parsley in a small bowl, stirring to create a bright, briny finishing sauce.
- Spoon the caper and lemon sauce generously over the grilled swordfish and serve immediately.
