Ingredients

  • 50 g paneer
  • 60 g yogurt
  • 1 tsp tandoori spice
  • 2 pieces pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 (juiced) lemon

Method

  1. Cut the paneer into bite-sized cubes and slice the pepper into strips.
  2. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, tandoori spice, and lemon juice to form the tikka marinade.
  3. Add the paneer cubes and pepper strips to the marinade, tossing well to coat every piece evenly.
  4. Cover the bowl and allow the paneer and peppers to marinate for at least 5 minutes so the flavors fully penetrate the paneer.
  5. Serve the tikka paneer directly from the marinade bowl as a chilled, no-cook preparation.
