- 100 g swordfish
- 1 (juiced) lemon
- 1 tsp thyme
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 50 g salad
Method
- Combine olive oil, lemon juice, and thyme in a bowl to create a marinade, then add the swordfish and let it marinate for 12 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat while the swordfish absorbs the marinade.
- Thread the marinated swordfish onto skewers, ensuring the pieces are evenly spaced for consistent cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for approximately 33 minutes, turning every 8 minutes and basting with the remaining marinade to build layers of flavor.
- Remove the swordfish souvlaki from the grill once the fish is opaque and slightly charred at the edges.
- Arrange the salad on a serving platter and lay the grilled swordfish skewers on top, drizzling any remaining lemon and olive oil marinade over the dish before serving.
