Ingredients
- 600g Beef round roast
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 small (small amount) Carrot
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 pieces Bay leaves
- 1/2 head Cauliflower (for mash)
- 2 tbsp Butter
- to taste Salt and pepper
Method
- Sear the meat on all sides.
- Add onion and carrot, saute for 3-4 minutes.
- Add bay leaves and a little water, cover with a lid.
- Cook on low heat for 1 hour (30 min in a pressure cooker).
- Boil cauliflower and mash with butter. Serve alongside the roast.
